Technical support and dental supplies
Dental Logistics forms part of the Corporate Services Division within Dental Health Services Victoria. The role of Dental Logistics is to support operational/clinical Divisions in the provision of the core function of DHSV, the delivery of dental services in the public health sector within Victoria.
In addition, Dental Logistics supports the provision of services by Community Health Services across the state.
The primary functions of Dental Logistics are:
- Supply chain management, including purchase and distribution
- Provision, installation and maintenance of dental equipment
- A comprehensive hand piece repair and service function
- Equipment calibration and validation
- Technical advice and project management
- Manage the State's capital works program, including funding management
- Dental Logistics also provides these technical and supply services to private dental clinics, utilising the extensive experience and resources of the team.
